CORA came to City A alone to find her relatives and met EVAN, a "down and out" rich second generation who escaped from family ties. The two accidentally became roommates and colleagues, and sparked love, but were strongly opposed by EVAN's father. When the two decided to elope, EVAN's father was attacked and killed. EVAN was misled and thought that everything was CORA's conspiracy. EVEN, who was overwhelmed with grief and anger, stabbed CORA and triggered the ancient curse, and the two lost their memories. Seven years later, the two people who were entangled by fate met again in City C. EVAN, the then president of the group, was inexplicably attracted to CORA; but CORA misunderstood that EVAN intercepted his raw material supply and was unhappy, but had to approach EVAN in order to get black material. The two fell in love again in many intersections and frictions.
