Synopsis

After learning her husband and his family believe her baby is an illegitimate child, a woman suffers a harrowing labor in a basement while his mistress gives birth upstairs. Her baby dies, but she survives and fakes her own death to uncover the truth: the mistress’s child is not her husband’s, but part of a cruel conspiracy.
