Synopsis

Eve Sutton quietly endures as Riley Blake's stand-in for years. After Riley returns from abroad, she's neglected and pushed into blind dates. Eve resigns and joins Stalwart Corp, falling in love and later marrying Andrew Pierce. Riley suffers a major setback and has a falling-out with James Dalton, eventually being taken in by the police. James, bankrupt and having lost Eve, is blacklisted. The story centers on workplace and emotional struggles, with Eve ultimately gaining respect and happiness.
